Spreeha Expanding Care, Powering Smart Health

From January to May 2025, Spreeha’s Urgent Healthcare project made strong progress in expanding access to quality healthcare and building digital solutions to improve service delivery. As of May, Spreeha’s eight urgent care centers across Dhaka, Gazipur, and Tangail have served 6,000 patients, providing doctor consultations, diagnostics, medications, urgent care, and health education to communities that often lack timely and affordable care.

This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: to scale from 8 to 30 centers by the end of 2025. Five new centers are already committed through support from the Spreeha Dallas Chapter, and we are actively fundraising for the remaining 17. These centers will bring essential health services to an additional 400,000 people across Bangladesh.

One of the most significant developments of this period has been the progress of the health assistant app - a smart health companion designed for doctors working in time-constrained, high-demand environments. In Bangladesh, the average consultation time per patient is just 48 seconds. The app is being developed to address this challenge by equipping healthcare providers with real-time access to patient records, AI-driven clinical prompts, and tools to manage appointments, prescriptions, and diagnostic workflows. The app is now in beta phase and will soon be piloted at select urgent care centers.

Together, these efforts are helping us bring compassionate, tech-enabled, and community-rooted healthcare to those who need it most. Thank you for continuing to support Spreeha and making these milestones possible.
