Rita called us earlier this year desperately needing to escape abuse in Germany with her son Quentin. Her abuser had hidden Quentin's American passport and she needed our help advocating to the American Embassy to issue a new passport for Quentin. Rita's abuser had threatened to kill her and Quentin multiple times and Rita was certain their lives were at risk.
Over the period of several weeks we were able to secure another passport for Quentin and help get them home to the USA.
Because of donations like yours, we are able to provide critical services to battered American women and their children overseas like Rita & Quentin.
