Rumah Zakat, through Rumah Zakat Action, continues to intensify its humanitarian response to a series of floods, flash floods, and landslides that have hit various areas on the island of Sumatra, including West Sumatra, North Sumatra, and Aceh, from mid to late November 2025. Murni Alit Baginda, Director of Programs at Rumah Zakat, stated that by early December 2025, Rumah Zakat had distributed tens of thousands of humanitarian aid packages to support the urgent needs of survivors. The total main aid distributed includes 20,000 Superqurban packages, 1,950 ready-to-eat food packages, 400 cups of hot meals, and 69 shelter kits for refugees.
