Rumah Zakat Samarinda Distributes Superqurban Corned Beef to Kampung Berambai

Samarinda, July 25, 2025 –

Rumah Zakat, through its Samarinda Service Office, once again distributed aid by distributing Superqurban corned beef to residents in Kampung Berambai, Samarinda. This initiative is part of the Superqurban distribution program aimed at reaching remote communities with limited access to nutritious food.

A total of 80 packages of Superqurban Corned Beef were directly distributed by Rumah Zakat volunteers to those in need, particularly the elderly, the underprivileged, and low-income families. Berambai Village was selected due to its remote location and ongoing need for special attention regarding food security.

“Superqurban is not just a processed meat product from sacrificial animals, but also a symbol of the ongoing benefits of sacrificial offerings throughout the year. Through this distribution, we aim to ensure no one is left behind in accessing adequate nutrition,” said a representative from Rumah Zakat Samarinda.

Residents of Berambai Village welcomed Rumah Zakat’s presence with gratitude and emotion. One of the beneficiaries, Mr. La Oding, admitted that he was greatly helped by the assistance provided.

The Superqurban program is Rumah Zakat’s innovation in processing and storing sacrificial meat into long-lasting corned beef and rendang. These products are then distributed to various disaster-affected areas, economically crisis-stricken regions, and 3T areas (frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped).
