To our GlobalGiving supporters, the team at HUG Project continues to extend our deepest gratitude for your support and donations. Your generosity has played a crucial role in a recent case that highlights our staff’s dedication and our priority in helping children in Thailand. In this case, a 4-year-old girl was involved in an unimaginable situation. A concerned citizen on Twitter brought the matter to our attention, reporting a page that shared images of the young child, encouraging others to join a group that shared other abusive material for online live steaming. As quick as we could, our team collaborated with the police, specifically the TICAC Cyber Crimes Investigation Team, to initiate an investigation. The joint efforts of the police, the Department of Social Development, and the child's shelter led to a search at the suspect's residence. The quick and coordinated response ensured the girl's rescue, and she is now under the custody of child welfare authorities for protection and support. The offender was charge under human trafficking for production of pornography. This successful outcome would not have been possible without your incredible support. Your commitment to our cause empowers us to make a real and positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children in Thailand. Thank you for being an essential part of our mission to combat human trafficking and protect children in need. Sincerely, The HUG Team
