The 34 old aged people at Manakaman Old Aged people's home have been living happily till now. The 7.9 magnitude quake on Saturday April 25 with its epicenter at Gorkha did not do any harm to them. It could not do anything to their small huts and prayer hall. But they felt the sever termer and were afraid and also shouted for help. But nothing happened to them.
After the termer of the earth they have been very sad to hear about the death of too many people and destruction of lots of properties around Kathmandu valley.
They have been praying to God to provide strength to the bereaved families and relatives to bear the repairable loss and also for the departed soul rest in peace in heaven.
The people have been receiving support in cash from us from time to time. With the money they have been purchasing there extremely necessary things and have been living there.
