Dear Friends
Once again we are pleased to share a new report about Our “Manakamana Elderly Home Food Material Support Program” among you all.
All 30 senior citizens living at the Manakamana Elderly Home are happy and healthy and have been having a very good time. During the past four months two new helpless senior persons have been admitted by the Elderly Home management Committee.
All the people living at the Elderly Home are grateful to receive fresh meals prepared by a cook. Their every morning begins with a light breakfast like tea and biscuits at around 7:00 a.m. The bell for the lunch rings at 9:00 a.m. Then they ]carry their plates to the dining hall, enjoy a tasty meal together, and then return to their rooms for proper rest
Our food materials -support program for the Elderly Home has made their daily lives much easier. They no longer need to fetch water, prepare meals, wash dishes, or worry about where their next meal will come from.
On behalf of the management committee, we make every effort to provide balanced and varieties of meals so that the residents can enjoy both nutritious food and a better quality of life.
It is currently the rainy season in Nepal. At Manakamana, and the rain has been falling almost every day. As a result the weather has remained cool and pleasant. The gentle rainfall, especially during the night, creates a joyful environment and helps the elderly residents sleep comfortably.
The organization management committee meets almost every month to review the program. We also invite some of the elderly residents to participate in these meetings and share their opinions about the quality of food and our service for them. Their feedback helps us understand their needs and make timely improvements to the program.
As a result of your generous donations, we have been able to provide meals as well as other essential assistance to 30 senior citizens at Elderly Home.
However, as more elderly people seek shelter and care, we need additional support to maintain and improve our services.
We hope you will continue helping by:
Every contribution, whether large or small, helps us provide nutritious meals, dignity, comfort, and hope to elderly people who need our care and companionship.
Once again, we sincerely thank you and your family for your generous contributions till now. We hope you will continue standing with us in the coming days so that together, we can provide a safer and happier life for the senior citizens of Manakamana Elderly Home.
Warm regards,
Tejanath Pokharel
