Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Provide Epilepsy Drugs for 4,500 Rural Patients project. Your contribution shows care for individuals living with epilepsy in underserved communities. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the planned drug distribution, and more support is needed.
Across rural areas in Nigeria, many people living with epilepsy are unable to afford treatment. The cost of anti-seizure medication remains far beyond what most families can pay.
Without regular medication, patients continue to experience frequent seizures, leading to injuries, loss of income, school dropout, and social stigma.
This project is designed to provide life-saving anti-seizure drugs for 4,500 patients through rural clinics and trained health workers. It will also include basic education to help families support consistent treatment.
With the right support, patients can reduce seizures, live safer lives, and take part in school, work, and daily activities.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this project and reach those in urgent need.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
