Hello and thanks again from everyone here at East Mississippi Animal Rescue! We are so grateful to have such loyal supporters as you! Today, we want to tell you a little bit about some of the animals your donations have allowed us to help.
Benson, a Doberman, came into our care just recently. He had been run over by a car and had an injury to his foot. (WARNING: Photo is included and may be considered graphic to some.) His owner could no longer afford to care for him, so EMAR took Benson in and saw to it that he received the medical care he needed. Benson had surgery in which two of his toes were removed. He is getting better every day but still has a few more weeks of healing ahead.
These two poodle-mix dogs were abandoned by their owner and taken to the local animal control facility. The staff at the facility asked if EMAR would take them into our care and find suitable homes. They were neglected for quite a while but now their lives are turning around. Both dogs have been fully vetted and are on their way to becoming a part of a very loving family.
We thank you for your continued support and look forward to all that lies ahead. We are committed to helping the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in our area and we couldn't do it without your help. THANK YOU!
