The NABU Foundation has been supporting the local community for 3 years now by educating its youngest members. For the past 2 years, we have also been dedicated to helping Ukrainian refugees who have settled in our region while fleeing war. We offer high quality education for children and young people to develop their skills and passions. This project will help educate the poorest, the disabled and the gifted to directly strengthen their resilience and create a better future for 10 children.
In our care are many children from poor families who cannot afford specialized schooling. We want to ensure that every student has access to education so that we can open up career paths for a successful future. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to do so, as we operate in a small town where financial assistance is hard to come by. Local schools also do not teach additional knowledge beyond the basic curriculum. For Ukrainian children, joining Polish school system is often problematic.
With your support, we will be able to cover the cost of educational courses for the poorest children at risk of exclusion in our local community. We will provide them with a long-term education that will help them prepare for adult life. The organized classes will cover topics such as English, robotics and programming, computer graphics and traditional art. We will offer a wide range of education that will be able to respond to the different needs of our beneficiaries.
Specialized education in the form of customized courses for Ukrainian and Polish children will provide them with the skills to more easily succeed in the future and break the cycle of poverty. It will empower them to pursue higher education and career opportunities in fields that are often inaccessible to them. This will directly contribute to the development of our city's social capital and the reduction of socioeconomic disparities. This will result in a better future for our entire community.
