This month we launched the 8th generation of the Diploma in Early Care, with which we provide training to health specialists for early childhood care with 35 professionals trained and in the process of certification by UNAM.

We continue to work on an individualized basis, regular follow-up sessions were carried out to evaluate the progress of each patient, incorporating clinical data and metrics collected by the different services they access in APAC. During these sessions, the patient's response to the interventions was observed, progress towards the established goals was measured, and challenges were discussed. This combined monitoring allowed for timely adjustments to the treatment plan, ensuring that interventions will continue to be effective and tailored to the patient's changing needs.

Constant communication with patients and families, supported by reports and visualizations of progress generated by technology, was essential to keep them informed, engaged and participatory in therapeutic decision-making.

A story that inspires

Meet Sofia, she is currently 2 years old, she entered the early intervention service with the diagnosis of Down syndrome and global developmental delay. Upon admission, Sofia only moved by crawling. Low muscle tone was observed in a generalized way, optimal head and trunk control, independent sitting, but he had difficulty in independent transitions, as well as difficulty in following simple indications. Currently, Sofi is fully adapted to her physical therapy sessions, she has achieved a lateral walk with support and increased muscle tone of the 4 limbs, coordination activities and weight bearing are carried out, as well as integrating walking promoting her independence, which has been part of the teaching plan to parents.
