Summary

This project will provide 500 young women entrepreneurs in Ghana with essential digital literacy, business, and technology skills to grow their startups. Through training, mentorship, and access to digital tools, participants will learn how to use technology to manage finances, market their products, and connect with customers online. By equipping female founders with these skills, we are reducing barriers to digital inclusion, tackling unemployment, and empowering women to become job creators.

Challenge

In Ghana, many young women with brilliant startup ideas lack the digital and financial skills needed to run sustainable businesses. Limited access to training, mentorship, and technology prevents them from scaling their enterprises or competing in the modern economy. Without intervention, these women risk being left out of digital opportunities, reinforcing cycles of poverty and unemployment.

Solution

Our project will: Train 500 female startup founders in digital literacy and entrepreneurship. Provide hands-on workshops on social media marketing, e-commerce, digital financial management, and freelancing platforms. Connect participants with mentors and successful female tech entrepreneurs. Support participants to digitize their businesses and access new markets.

Long-Term Impact

By empowering 500 women with digital skills, this project will not only strengthen their startups but also create ripple effects in their communities. Each empowered entrepreneur can create jobs, support families, and inspire other young women to pursue technology and entrepreneurship. This initiative contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth).
