Investing in debt relief is more important than ever before after months of relentless attacks on federal programs here in the U.S. that support and protect borrowers from all different types of predatory lending. So far, the current administration has:
Things have gotten out of hand fast, but we aren’t panicking—we’re organizing!
Predatory lenders and the current administration are hard at work keeping borrowers drowning in endless cycles of debt. That’s why we’re working even harder to ensure that we’re counteracting those efforts by getting rid of predatory debt entirely.
Every single dollar of debt canceled counts when we talk about restoring financial freedom to borrowers in need. Last year, we restored $11,384,399 worth of financial freedom for borrowers all over the country.
Our debt relief efforts reached every single state (including Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico), but there were a few standouts. Texas, California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Maryland had the most debt canceled and with thousands of borrowers experiencing direct debt relief.
This year, our goal is to create even more opportunities for debt relief for as many borrowers as we can. Your support is crucial to our cause and restoring financial freedom for all!
