Hello Friends of the Hogar San José,
Our school year is just starting, and we finished our summer holidays! The highlight of these two last months were the 5 days we went to the Cordoba Sierras. Thank you to all those that contributed to make it possible!
This year we went through a regular bus service, and 5 volunteers awaited us in La Cumbre, ready to take us to the different venues. We went to the river twice, to the mountains, walked around the small town and had an incredible time.
These holidays helped unite the group and created memories that will last forever.
The rest of the summer flew by, there were 9 heat waves this year and we were happy when school started early march and the weather started cooling off.
At this point we are raising funds to help with school supplies and uniforms for the school year, so every donation counts.
