Do Your Part cannot even begin to tell you how thankful we are to those of you who have donated to this project. People have told me to let this project go because there is not enough interest, I cannot do that. I have seen the joy in a childs face that has lost everything and to get that backpack full of supplies, is an amazing feeling. With the help of Global Giving and all it's donors I will keep trying, because we also have kids helping kids. These kids who have not been affected by disaster, reach out with in kind donations for those that have suffered a loss. It is heartwarming to work with children helping other children. If there was a way to receive in-kind donations from all the donors for backpacks, I would do it in a minute.
We ask you to please help those that just might be the ones to help us one day.
