This project offers digital literacy and socio-emotional development to 50 elderly people, to achieve autonomy in work and life, being integrated into society .We have already executed one edition of the project and it has proven capable of strengthening bonds, in an attempt to promote transformation of fragile family contexts and to promote autonomy and protagonism in the exercise of one's own rights.
The number of elderly people in Brazil has increased and many must continue working to support themselves. Others are socially excluded for being considered too old. Regarding the digital inclusion of elderly people, in a country marked by social inequalities, many seniors face difficulties learning to use computers, smartphones, and other technologies. Facilitating this process is essential for reasons such as promoting autonomy, maintaining a foothold in the job market, and preventing fraud.
The project contributes to the dignified, active, and healthy aging of these individuals and strengthens public policies for the protection of older adults. We aim to serve elderly and vulnerable individuals over 60 through digital training initiatives in useful technologies for everyday life, as this is essential for providing digital autonomy and generating greater independence. We also offer socio-emotional workshops to develop emotional skills and promote healthy aging.
In addition to preparing 100 seniors for the world of work, the project works to develop socio-emotional skills and social bonds, as well as promote public policies to protect the elderly. This comprehensive approach not only enables professional training but also contributes to social reintegration and the promotion of citizenship, generating positive impacts on the lives of its participants and their families.
