With your support in the Little x little campaign we were able to offer a creative workshop in a public school in the town of Orocovis, where students do not have art classes and love to create and perform. We started with a mask creation workshop and concluded with a theatrical workshop with artistic flags and a small parade around the school for the rest of the students.
This school, in the rural area of central Puerto Rico, asked us to offer this workshop, but they did not have the financial resources for it. Thanks to this fundraising, we were able to cover the costs of transportation and materials and be able to offer a reasonable stipend to the artists who offered the workshop. University students and school teachers also voluntarily joined the initiative.
We are very grateful to have been able to carry out this project and we hope that with your help we can continue reaching more schools on our Island that lack this type of experiences.
Thank you very much for your support and commitment to children and youth.
