Thank you for your continued support. We recently participated in the Giving Tuesday Campaign and we were blown away by your generosity. As you can imagine, with inflation skyrocketing in Ghana, building costs are still at an all time high. Thus, fundraising is still in progress for this much needed project and once all funds are raised we can begin construction on the covered outdoor space for weavers.
As always, Global Mamas is committed to sustainable growth and since its inception has created hundreds of jobs in Ghana. This necessary funding will provide sustainable livelihoods to over 150 batikers, seamstresses, weavers, hyacinth harvesters, bead makers & assemblers. Even better, the Fair Trade Zone will be a safe and empowering workplace for all.
We will certainly keep you posted on our progress. In the meantime, please continue to share our story and invite others to come alongside us in this journey with their donation.
