This project will provide a home and a good education to 30 orphans, abused and abandoned children in Limpopo, South-Africa, a province greatly affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic; raising them in a loving, stable and safe environment. They will be restored to good health, emotionally and physically and equipped for life through education so they can have a meaningful future.
The extreme poverty and the HIV/AIDS pandemic have left millions of children orphaned, abused and neglected in the province of Limpopo. These children need to be taken care of. The Little Oaks Children's Home will provide them with a loving family, a home and education to give them an opportunity, as they grow up, to have a positive contribution in their community.
By providing a safe and loving home, giving nutritious meals, attending to their medical needs, enrolling them in a good school, teaching them life skills, self sustenance (home baking, gardening, establishing a vegetable garden etc) and build their self-confidence.
This project will fully take care of 30 orphaned, abused or neglected children and will educate them, allowing them to rise out of poverty and neglect, thus putting an end to the vicious circle of hopelessness that is commonly taking place in this country. In the future, we aim to open more small orphanages in order to keep each child special and giving him a sense of belonging.
