The holidays can be an especially difficult time for many foster youth, with no family or place to call home. We make it our mission during the holidays to be sure each child in our programs feels loved and included in a family. This year we were able to provide gifts to 500 foster youth ranging from gift cards to books and DVDs thanks to the generosity of our supporters. We also provided meals and activities for the youth throughout the holiday season so they were able to enjoy the holiday season. Throughout the year UFC provides services and support to these same youth through our housing and education programs. As one youth said, "I've always felt super lonely during the holidays. It's as if I'm the only one without a family but UFC changed that. It's as if I have all these brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles now who truly care about me. And I had a Christmas tree!"
