Provide women and girls education in Cambodia

Dear Friend, we'd love to share with you our latest activities and achievements of the last 3 months:

1. Safer City for Girls & Youth SRHR Engagement

• Community Forums: * Led by 18 youth ambassadors, reaching 167 participants (predominantly female, including 103 women/girls).

  • Focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), safeguarding policies, and menstrual health exhibitions.

• Mobile Cart Awareness Sessions:

  • Conducted sessions focusing directly on menstrual hygiene and STI prevention.

  • Reached 28 participants, including 15 women, significantly boosting understanding and confidence among girls.

• Digital Content & Influencer Outreach:

  • Youth ambassadors produced podcasts and videos addressing SRHR myths and facts, posted on the Talk to Friend page.

  • Partnered with influencer Mr. Poka to promote safe spaces and education, achieving over 7,200 views and high social engagement.

2. Family Strengthening & Educational Workshops

• Skill-Building Workshops: * Held 4 major sessions reaching 138 participants, covering positive parenting, financial literacy, child development, and parent well-being.

• Indoor Activities for Girls and Families: * Organized 15 events engaging 480 participants (including dedicated participation from girls and women) using arts, sports, and education to build confidence and leadership.

• Counseling & Professional Development:

  • Conducted a basic counseling refresher workshop for 21 school staff (19 of whom were women) from eight target schools, improving local referral pathways and emotional safety for students.

3. Emergency & Targeted Support

• Crisis Assistance: * Delivered 123 emergency support packages (which included health fees, food, bicycles, and crucial school materials for girls and families in crisis).

• Women’s Empowerment Group: * Hosted dedicated sessions focusing on self-care and mutual support for women in the community.
