Since the beginning of 2023, Women's Resource Center has hosted the visit of government officials and women leaders of three districts and municipalities: Siem Reap, Battambang, and Banteay Meanchey to exchange the experiences of women in leadership roles, challenges, and strengths of women that visit through GIZ.
Additionally, trough working with 10 schools in Siem Reap on the “Safer City for Girls ” project, we recruited 100 youth ambassadors to share their voices around creating a safer place for girls which is free from harassment and bullying in the public space. Girls and boys have increased confidence to share the topics with others through social media.
It is our aim to build a youth with the values of equality and respect, who share these values with their peers.
