Pakistan has over 26 million out-of-school children, especially girls and rural students, due to poverty, poor school infrastructure, and disasters. Many schools lack basic facilities, limiting learning. Providing 1,000 school kits will reduce financial barriers, encourage enrollment, improve attendance, and support the education of vulnerable children in underserved areas, acting as an entry point toward broader systemic educational support.
The main problem is the low female participation and literacy in Pakistan's remote areas. Poverty, poor economic conditions, and lack of school facilities prevent girls from attending school, leaving many out of the education system and limiting their future opportunities.
This project will provide 1,000 school kits to children, especially girls in remote areas, reducing financial barriers to education. By supplying essential learning materials, it encourages enrollment and regular attendance, motivates families to send daughters to school, and supports their literacy and learning, creating a pathway for greater female participation in education despite economic challenges.
Providing school kits will gradually increase attendance and retention, especially among girls in remote areas. Over time, more children gaining basic literacy and numeracy can lead to better educational outcomes, improved confidence, and increased opportunities for higher education or skills development. While it won't solve systemic poverty, it lays the foundation for incremental improvement in female education participation.
