Severe floods in Pakistan have displaced over 70,000 people and destroyed more than 17,000 homes. Families are struggling without food, shelter, or clean water. This project will provide 1,000 food boxes, each containing essential items to feed a family for several days. With your support, we can fight hunger, restore dignity, and bring hope to flood-affected families in Gilgit-Baltistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The 2025 floods in Pakistan have displaced more than 70,000 people and destroyed over 17,000 homes. Families who lost everything are now living in temporary shelters without food or clean water. Crops, livestock, and livelihoods have been washed away, leaving families dependent on aid for survival. Children and women are at the greatest risk of hunger and malnutrition unless urgent food assistance is provided
This project will provide 1,000 food boxes, each containing flour, rice, oil, pulses, sugar, and essentials to feed a family for two weeks. For smaller donations, families will also receive hot cooked meals to cover immediate hunger. Alkhidmat teams will identify the most vulnerable families and ensure fair, transparent distribution. This timely support will protect families from hunger and malnutrition while they recover from the floods.
Providing 1,000 food boxes will protect nearly 7,000 people from hunger and malnutrition during the emergency phase. With their immediate food needs met, families can focus on safety, health, and rebuilding their lives. While food aid is short-term, it prevents further loss of life and gives vulnerable families the strength and dignity to recover and engage in long-term rehabilitation.
