Currently in Rincón del Mar, we continue with a strong communications program with the local library, María Mulata Lectora.
We have supported the Biblioteca María Mulata in several different recycling and environmental education fairs in Rincón del Mar as well as surrounding towns in María la Baja, Berrugas, Chichiman and Sabanetica... impacting hundreds of children and families and teaching them the importance of keeping trash out of the mangroves!
In the meantime, we continue to work with the FAO on their biodiversity monitoring activities--- and have a mangrove monitoring coming up soon to see what our first quarter’s results will be, so stay tuned!
