Expanding HIV Prevention, Awareness, and Community Impact in Nigeria.

We are excited to share our first update on this life-saving HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness project across Nigeria. Thanks to your early support, we have begun laying the foundation for impactful community outreach that will help reduce new HIV infections, fight stigma, and expand access to essential health services.
Where We Are Now
We have started mobilizing local teams and preparing for targeted interventions in high-risk communities. Our focus is on reaching vulnerable youth, women, and underserved populations with accurate HIV education, prevention tools, and access to free HIV testing and counseling services.
Why This Matters
Nigeria remains one of the countries most affected by HIV/AIDS, with over 1.9 million people living with HIV. Many young people still lack access to sexual health education, HIV prevention resources, and testing services due to stigma, misinformation, and funding gaps. With reduced international support, community-driven solutions like this project are more critical than ever.
What We’re Doing
This project is designed to deliver high-impact, grassroots HIV interventions, including:
Community HIV awareness campaigns to combat stigma and misinformation
Free HIV testing and counseling services for early detection and treatment
Youth empowerment workshops focused on HIV prevention and sexual health education
Distribution of prevention materials to reduce transmission risks
Training of peer educators and community health advocates for sustainable impact
These activities align with proven global health strategies to reduce HIV transmission, improve public health outcomes, and strengthen community resilience.
What’s Next
Over the coming months, we will scale our outreach to reach thousands of individuals across both urban and rural communities. We are also building partnerships with local stakeholders to ensure sustainability and long-term impact.
