Over the course of these few months, we have been working in cases that involve communities that have been exposed to agrochemical fumigation in the Province of Cordoba. As part of our efforts, we filed an environmental protection case regarding the situation in Colonia Tirolesa (Córdoba), where there is currently no local legislation in place to establish limitations on fumigation practices.
In addition, we will also file an environmental protection case regarding the situation in Marcos Juárez (Córdoba), where there is local legislation, but it is currently insufficient and not being enforced. Our team will continue working to advocate for the health and safety of all affected communities.
Furthermore, we recognize the importance of promoting food sovereignty and sustainable food production practices. As such, we will be dedicating time and resources towards our own training in this area, with the goal of updating the "Emergency Agrochemicals" website with accurate and helpful information on sustainable food production alternatives.
