Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Protect Nigeria Forests with Clean 2,500 Cookstoves project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned cookstove distribution has not yet begun.
Across many rural communities in Nigeria, families rely on firewood for daily cooking. This leads to continuous tree cutting, environmental damage, and heavy smoke exposure inside homes.
The smoke from traditional stoves affects the health of women and children, causing breathing problems and increasing the risk of burns. At the same time, families spend significant time and resources gathering fuel.
This project is designed to distribute 2,500 clean, fuel-efficient cookstoves to rural households. These stoves will help reduce wood use, lower smoke exposure, and improve safety in the home. Training will also be provided to support proper use and long-term adoption.
With the right support, families can cook more safely, protect their health, and reduce pressure on local forests.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach communities in need of safer cooking solutions.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
