Thank you for your generous support for our project protecting girls from sexual violence in the Congo.
International Medical Corps has worked with more than 100 young men and women to encourage the next generation of women leaders in their community and to create an environment that is safe for young women in Eastern Congo.
Our teams of behaviour change specialists have also trained doctors, nurses, teachers, youth workers, community and religious leaders, and law enforcement officials in the prevention of gender violence and compassionate support for survivors.
The project is now coming to a close, but the work of International Medical COrps in DRC continues. You can find out more here: http://www.internationalmedicalcorps.org.uk/where-we-work/africa/democratic-republic-of-congo/
