Our project “Protect girls from human trafficking in Laos” is fully funded! SENGSAVANG would like to thank you very much for your kind support. With your help we earned a permanent spot on GlobalGiving and are able to post new fundraising projects in the future.
Your support ensures that we can continue changing lives of many victims and girls at risk of human trafficking in Laos. We can pursue our mission and have more successful stories like the one of Vi. Do you remember Vi? She is one of the more than 400 girls we supported in our shelter. When being asked what SENGSAVANG changed in her life, Vi says that she is very grateful for all support and encouragement she received to run her own successful business. When it happens that girls working in prostitution come to her beauty salon, Vi tries to convince them to start a new life. She became herself an advocate for women empowerment.
Thanks to each end every donation we receive, many other girls and young woman like Vi can be given hope and hands-on support for a better life. With your help we are able to offer these girls the opportunity to empower themselves, their families and their communities. Securing financial independence will ensure that they stay safe from human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Our project is fully funded… So what is next? We would love to have you get more involved with SENGSAVANG. Be sure to stay updated with our work and activities by visiting our website, becoming our friend on Facebook and following us on Twitter. We keep you posted about our next fundraising project.
Thank you again for taking action with us!
