Ten-year-old Amina fled violent conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo carrying only her school notebook. Today, like thousands of displaced children, she dreams of returning to class instead of living in fear. This project will help 1,000 displaced children access safe learning spaces, school kits, trained teachers, psychosocial support, and child protection services, giving them the chance to learn, heal, and build a safer future.
Every day, conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo forces children like Amina to miss school and face violence, exploitation, child labor, early marriage, and trauma. Many families have lost everything and cannot afford school supplies. Without safe education and child protection, thousands of displaced children risk losing not only their education but also their hope, security, and future opportunities.
This project will help 1,000 displaced children return to learning by providing school kits, temporary classrooms, child-friendly spaces, psychosocial care, trained teachers, child protection committees, and family awareness sessions. Every donation helps create a safe environment where children can learn, recover from trauma, regain confidence, and continue building brighter futures despite conflict.
Education and protection change lives far beyond the classroom. By helping 1,000 displaced children stay safe and remain in school, this project reduces child labor, violence, exploitation, and school dropout while improving emotional well-being and future employment opportunities.
