Violence and discrimination rob women and girls with disabilities of their confidence, security, and hope. Despite progress, 21% of Nigerian women still experience violence (Nigeria DHS, 2024). For disabled women, the barriers to recovery are even higher.
Our project addresses these challenges through comprehensive support: safe spaces for healing, psychosocial counseling, legal assistance, and practical training for 50 women and girls with disabilities in Guma. We also work with families and communities to reduce stigma, increase understanding, and promote inclusion.
Your contribution helps survivors rebuild their confidence, return to school or work, and become active members of their communities. By supporting this project, you help turn crisis into confidence—creating a ripple effect that uplifts families and transforms communities.
Join us to help every survivor become a symbol of strength and possibility.
