In Nigeria, child marriage rates remain at 33% nationally, rising to 48% in rural areas and 67% among the poorest (Girls Not Brides, 2023). These statistics are even grimmer for girls with disabilities, who are often hidden from view and denied basic rights.
Our project in Guma is dedicated to uprooting inequality at its roots. We provide inclusive education, legal support, and safe spaces while engaging the whole community—leaders, parents, and peers—in conversations about equality and inclusion.
Your donation ensures that girls with disabilities have the same opportunities as their peers: to learn, grow, and make their own choices. You help create communities that stand up for every girl, regardless of her circumstances.
Be part of the movement to build truly inclusive communities in Northern Nigeria—your support matters.
