Disabled women in Nigeria are at double risk—facing both stigma and a higher likelihood of violence. Over 53% report experiencing GBV (BONEWS, 2023). Yet, when given the right support, these women often become powerful advocates for change.
Our project invests in survivor leadership. We provide 50 disabled women and girls in Guma with education, counseling, legal aid, and skills training. We also help them develop confidence and advocacy skills, so they can support others and influence community attitudes.
Your donation helps transform survivors into leaders who will continue the work of prevention and support for years to come. By empowering these women, you are investing in a cycle of change that benefits entire communities.
Support us—let’s turn survivors into champions for a safer, more inclusive Nigeria.
