In Nigeria, 21% of women experience physical or sexual violence (Nigeria DHS, 2024), with rates higher in conflict-affected regions like Benue State. When disability is added to the equation, the risk and isolation multiply.
Our project offers hope by providing direct, holistic support to 50 women and girls with disabilities in Guma. We offer safe spaces, psychosocial counseling, legal referrals, and livelihoods training. Most importantly, we foster a sense of community and belonging—showing each survivor that she is not alone.
Your donation lights the way, supporting outreach to families, training for local advocates, and public awareness campaigns that challenge harmful norms. Every dollar helps ensure that survivors can heal, rebuild, and share their stories as beacons of hope for others.
By giving today, you become part of a movement to end violence and build brighter futures for Nigeria’s most vulnerable women and girls.
