Nigeria has the world’s highest number of child brides—over 24 million—and this crisis is most acute in the north and among girls with disabilities (El País, 2024). These girls are often excluded from mainstream interventions, leaving them at extreme risk of abuse, neglect, and lifelong disadvantage.
Our project is designed to ensure that no one is forgotten. We provide specialized education, psychosocial support, and legal advocacy specifically for 50 women and girls with disabilities in Guma. By engaging local leaders and raising community awareness, we create an environment where inclusion becomes the norm, not the exception.
Your donation helps dismantle barriers and build systems that protect the most vulnerable. Each contribution delivers direct services to survivors while also fostering a culture of acceptance and equality.
When you give, you help rewrite the future for disabled girls—making sure they are not only protected, but also empowered to thrive and lead. Join us in building a truly inclusive Nigeria.
