Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Protect Children Left out of Vaccination Programs project. Your contribution reflects concern for children who remain unprotected from preventable diseases. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin the planned vaccination outreach.
Across many rural and conflict-affected areas in Nigeria, thousands of children have not received basic vaccines. These “zero-dose” children face a higher risk of diseases such as measles, polio, and diphtheria.
Barriers such as distance to health facilities, limited awareness, and weak infrastructure continue to prevent families from accessing routine immunization. As a result, outbreaks of preventable diseases continue to affect vulnerable communities.
This project is designed to reach 5,000 unvaccinated children through mobile vaccination teams. Health workers will travel to underserved areas, provide vaccines, and record each child’s immunization to support follow-up care.
With the right support, more children can be protected from illness, reducing the risk of outbreaks and improving child survival in affected communities.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this program and reach children who need protection.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
