Between October 6 and 10, Cepac celebrated Children’s Week with a series of activities that brought joy, care, and unforgettable moments to more than 50 children supported by the Semeando Futuro project. These were days filled with fun, group games, and acts of care that reinforced the value of childhood and every child’s right to safe and happy experiences.
The activities included group dynamics such as musical chairs and dodgeball, as well as a big celebration with face painting, a hair braiding workshop, social haircuts, and a variety of delicious foods. For many families, the free haircut was especially meaningful — some mothers shared that they did not have to worry about the cost, and the children left beaming with their new looks. Gifts were also distributed, including diamond coloring books, a special novelty that delighted the children.
More than just a moment of leisure, this week created a space to strengthen bonds and boost self-esteem. Every smile and every game reinforced Cepac’s role in providing a safe, nurturing environment full of positive experiences that contribute to children’s development.
Reflecting on this celebration, we see how simple gestures can have a profound impact. By ensuring joyful and caring experiences, Cepac helps each child grow with a sense of belonging, confidence, and hope for a better future. Step by step, we continue protecting and transforming lives — thanks to the support and solidarity of all who believe in our mission.
