Although fundraising is still in its early stages, with the project goal of $7,500 yet to receive its first donation, Elite Star Foundation has continued planning and coordinating with local health partners to ensure the project is ready for implementation as funds become available. Preliminary community engagement has helped identify high-risk areas and establish collaboration with local leaders to support future immunization outreach and caregiver education. Financial support remains the highest priority, as donations will directly cover the procurement and transportation of vaccines, outreach logistics, community mobilization, educational materials, and monitoring activities. Every contribution received will immediately strengthen the project's capacity to protect vulnerable infants from polio. Continued donor support is essential to launch full-scale implementation, reach the target of immunizing 500 infants, and ensure children in underserved communities receive lifesaving protection against this preventable disease.
