Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Protect 4,800 Northern Nigerian Girls from FGM project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned awareness and protection activities have not yet begun.
Many girls across Northern Nigeria continue to face the risk of female genital mutilation due to cultural pressure, poor awareness, and lack of protective support systems. FGM continues to expose girls to serious physical injuries, emotional trauma, infections, and complications later in life.
Without education and community involvement, thousands of girls remain vulnerable to harmful practices that affect their health, safety, and future opportunities.
This project is designed to provide awareness campaigns, safe spaces, mentorship, family education, and community engagement activities that help protect girls and promote safer alternatives within communities. Local leaders and families will also receive guidance on the dangers of FGM and the importance of protecting girls.
With the right support, more girls can grow up healthier, safer, and better able to continue their education and personal development without fear of harmful practices.
We remain hopeful that support will come so this important protection project can begin and reach vulnerable girls across Northern Nigeria.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
