Narrative Update:
Startech has launched it's first school for underserved young adults living in Israel. The Online marketing school has begun with 18 beneficiaries from Israel's periphery who have the capability to excell in the tech field, but lack the necessary resources. Student's went through a rigorous application process inlcuding an a resume check, skills assesment, and an online examination. Their scores & examinations were evaluated by Sear's Israel in order to admit students who could benefit the most from the school. Following evaluation, applicants were interviewed in person by Appleseeds Academy & Sears Israel. This process was important to ensure participants will be responsible and have the ultimate goal of working in the tech sector & utilizing their new gained skills immediately following graduation.
Four sessions have already taken place out of the 12 total sessions. Student's meet once a week for three & a half hours. The school's teachers are top professionals from some of Israel's most successful hi-tech companies: Sears Israel & Brightcom. The course takes place in Brightcom's offices in Herzeliya, Israel.
Here is a breakdown of the schools' syllabus: On-Line Marketing School
