ICA Nepal conducted an orientation workshop for 40 youths on promoting STEM education in Community Schools. The youths were from diverse educational backgrounds such as management, social work, engineering, biology, information technology etc. These youths were introduced to the concept of an integrated approach to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Prof. Dr. Tatwa P. Timsina, Er, Gangadhar Chowdhary, Er. Ravi Khanal, Ms Ishu Subba facilitated the sessions.
These youths will now work in three community schools. They will facilitate teachers and work with students in learning the kits.
The workshop was jointly organized with the Rotary Club of Rudramati Kathmandu.
