Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) Nepal conducted STEM Education awareness session in two schools and one library of Parbat District and also supported STEM Kits. The programs were organized with the coordination of Moti Community Library. More than 100 students and teachers (including library members) participated in the session. Physicists Mr. Dipesh Basnet delivered the session. Participants learned to assemble and use STEM devices. School Principal and teachers revealed their enthusiasm to expand STEM education in their schools and thus requested for more support. STEM clubs were formed in the schools who will oversee the maintainance and use of STEM kits and get involve in teaching their juniors. Moti Library also committed to conduct STEM sessions in the community regularly and encourage members to use STEM kits.
