The Promoting, Inclusive & Economic Growth Development Program (PIE-GDP) was developed to empower marginalized individuals in Konduga LGA, Maiduguri, Borno State. This project aims to equip beneficiaries with vocational skills and access to opportunities that can support long-term economic growth. The project was listed on the GlobalGiving platform in hopes of raising the necessary funds to kick off its core activities.
Unfortunately, no financial contributions were received through the GlobalGiving platform during the fundraising period. As a result, the main components of the PIE-GDP project have been put on hold pending the availability of funding.
Despite this setback, a clothes was sent to Maiduguri as immediate relief following the 2024 flood disaster in Maiduguri, which affected several individuals who had previously been supported by the organization.
No further activities or program implementations have taken place, as the necessary funding to expand the project is still being sourced.
Moving forward, the team remains dedicated to mobilizing resources and partnerships that will enable the full realization of PIE-GDP’s vision.
