This last semester we implemented in our Gender Equity project the "Improve yourself for the benefit of your children Program" made exclusively for parents and imparted by our PROED coordinators team within our Gender Equity Program. This Program aims to provide and facilitate assertive communication strategies for parents. Communication could be used not only to give and recieve information, but also to give and recieve affection. 50 Mothers and Fathers from our Public Elementary Schools in the State of Oaxaca participated in this program.
Our PROED coordinators also imparted our "I Decide Program" which has a methodology that includes an integral focus on the emotional- affective life of students. This program has many aspects, mentioned before, but one of them is to guide students so that they can be able to make healthy life choices. During the 2023-2024 school cycle we worked with 47 groups from 4th, 5th and 6th grade in 32 schools in 8 States of the Mexican Republic, benefitting 1016 students.
