To give the necessary information & skills to increase demand for SRH- care & Right. To increase the availability of quality & integrated SRH information & services. To educate the public & stakeholders on SRH in order to avoid its abuse
The Nigerian Demographic & Health Survey (NDHS, 2008) report attests to the fact that there is high rate of maternal & prenatal morbidity& mortality (814 maternal deaths to 100,000 births), poor contraceptive prevalence rate, high incidences of unsafe abortions & high rates of FGM malignancies in Nigeria. Also in Nigeria SRH is significantly affected by socio-cultural, political & religious considerations Ngozi Odo et al.(2018)BMC Health Serv. There are insufficient SRH quality services provided
We give information about Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights to girls, women & the society at large to change social behaviors & norms that can hinder its acquisition. In addition to Information, SETI gives skill empowerment to women to build their capacity to make informed choices about the demand for SRHR & SRH services.We also, build the capacities of local health facilities to provide SRH services. During our school campaigns we train girls to become SRHR advocates & give SRH products
The project will empower 500 women and girls with skill and information and increase their demand and access to Sexual reproductive health products and services .
