Due to your continued support over 100+ farmers are now through with trainings on new farming systems and ready to change the whole community by advancing skills acquired in trainings to other farmers.This members are now growing cassava,millet and sorghum, crops that martures fast and are drought resistance which helps african continent to fight hunger and malnutrition.This activity could not take place before because it was difficult to breed crops for a rapidly changing climate,but through your help together with Bshg we are investing in fostering (green jobs) and helping enterprises that promete sustainable (green technolgies).Famers are currently in the process of collecting garbage and other green remains for making organic mature to help in growing health trees , crops and vegetables .This technology has reduced women workload in looking for food and fire wood for fuel hence time for leisure and relaxation making it a success story.The project was started as a result of kenya facing chronic food shortage and poor enviromental conservation progremmes.
