Support to educate 1000+ small producers where Bshg together with farmer scholars mutually developing technologies for transforming farming systems,improving livelihood and increase household income.
Majority of farmers in rural Kenya where poverty index is rated high and more so by passed by services offered by state agents including extension education and research, were left to use weather beaten wisdom and made to believe that their wisdom is not good unlike the western one. Support from Bshg recognized the traditional methods of preserving seeds,protecting environment and managing water and soils and decided to revive this together with farmers.
Trainings will be provided on alternative energy source like Bio gas and improved stoves like rorena ,new farming systems and provision of short term loans start kitchen gardening for improved nutrition and health.planting of trees by farmers.
Whole community will improve as a result of reduction of stress on environment for fuel wood,removal of garbage and refuse from homes for making organic manure will ensure health sanitation,improved nutrition,house hold income and soil productivity
