The "Promote, Support and Keep Children in School" project in Rwanda aims to support 200 vulnerable children to attend school regularly and succeed. With just $100 per child per year, we cover school fees, uniforms, materials, and health insurance, removing key barriers to education. In addition to financial support, the project offers mentorship and guidance, giving children the hope, support, and tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter, more stable future.
There exists unspoken reality in some poor communities in Rwanda, in regard to education. Vulnerable children face barriers like unaffordable school fees, lack of materials, poor health coverage, and limited parental support-leading to school dropouts and low achievement. Without education, they remain trapped in poverty. The "Promote, Support, and Keep in School" project offers financial and mentorship support to help children stay in school, succeed academically, and build a brighter future.
The Project will support vulnerable children facing barriers such as poverty, lack of materials, poor health coverage, and limited parental involvement-factors that lead to dropouts and low performance. It will provide school fees, materials, health insurance, and mentorship, while also strengthening communication between parents, children, and schools. This approach ensures a supportive learning environment, especially in areas impacted by the end of USAID education support.
This project aims to ensure children attend school regularly, progress academically, and complete their education. In the long term, it will help break the cycle of poverty, empower children to reach their full potential, and contribute positively to their families and communities through improved education and opportunities.
