By Sunil Lalvani | Founder & CEO, Project Maji

Dear Donors,

As we reach out to you this quarter, we are so pleased to share that we have crossed the 100th water access point milestone in Ghana. With you by our side, we have been on an upward-facing expansion journey since 2015. Ghana is our home-country, the locus of Project Maji’s game-changing innovation & home to the first taps Project Maji ever opened. Needless to say, Ghana is close to our hearts! The 100th access point milestone is truly a testament to that and also to the dedication and determination of our Ghanaian Team.

Project Maji’s eyes & ears in Ghana

As we celebrate this remarkable achievement, it is only fair to mention the leadership on the ground that steers our Ghanaian operations to success. Overseeing our operations in Ghana as Project Director, Amol has been instrumental in our success in the West African country. His colleagues believe Amol achieves within a week, what would take months for others, and our 100 operational Ghanaian sites are truly a testament to that. From site-selection, water quality testing and community sensitisation meetings to installation, remote monitoring, and monthly reporting, we know we can count on him and his dedicated team on the ground. For this, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Amol & to the rest of the Ghana team for fulfilling our clean water promise to those we serve.

Last but not least, we want to thank supporters like you who have stood by us since 2015 and never looked back. We owe our impact to each and everyone of you. Thank you fro being YOU!

Forever grateful,

Sunil Lalvani
